This is a high quality piece of Victorian furniture painted in Pigeon Grey and finished in black wax. The cabriole legs are deeply carved with foliage and still retain their original castors. Set on a well turned central column, when opened, the inside reveals a secret storage area perfect for cards or dice. Occasional table by day, Gentleman's Games Table by night. A beautiful vintage piece in excellent condition. Some of the craved feet have suffered from mild wood worm in the past, but this has been treated and barely noticable.
